Daniel Head

William Jewell College-Liberty, Missouri Bachelor Of Science In Business And Finance

With more than three decades in the industry, Daniel has advised clients alongside 6 presidents, 4 Fed Chairs and both tremendous growth and turmoil in the financial markets. The Dow is up more than 20-fold since Daniel’s career began, yet many of the most memorable moments center around navigating the uncertain times. It is in direct response to such times that Daniel spearheaded the development, implementation and management of the risk management strategies our team utilizes today.

A native of Brooklyn and a graduate of William Jewel College, Daniel has called Knoxville home for nearly 40 years. Throughout his career, Daniel has been an innovator and often non-conventional. Daniel began his career as a Broker Consultant for Cigna, then called Connecticut General. Shortly after, he was recruited by Paine Webber. After 6 years with Paine Webber and 7 years with Dean Witter, Daniel returned to Paine Webber in 1994. In the early 1990’s, Daniel developed a team focused on wealth management– a full decade before the concept was widely accepted. With stops at three major wire-houses along the way, Daniel found his permanent home in the independent channel in 2016 as Head Investment Partners.

Daniel is a proud father to two children (Liana and Nathaniel) and an active member of his church. He and his wife Carleen share a passion for fine food, wine and travel. Being true animal lovers, they have two dogs and two cats. Although he enjoys the outdoors and all sports, the wear and tear on his knees and ankles has slowed his enthusiasm for extreme skiing and full-court basketball. These days, you are more likely to find him playing golf.
